I was trying to change my keys, using a mouse and wired xbox controller (to see if a controller would work in the first place, ik), went to click the menu option (in the controls) and then pressed controller's start button.. got stuck with mapping the left click button to the pause button. Could not change it without it unpausing over and over. Uninstalling didn't change it

Yeah, we should remove the mapping for the pause menu and just leave it at ESC... Else chaos breaks out.
