I've been having issues with single-player games seemingly desyncing (ex. character cannot fuse items, sprite fails to change direction when moving, can no longer attack, can no longer save/saving icon doesn't disappear, etc.). The times it has triggered seems to be linked to fusing items. I think it might be the pogo items, the ham, or perhaps adding tags to an item. The sign that it's about to happen is that normal fusions (that don't involve the battery - battery fusions always makes my game lag) make the game lag for no apparent reason. The current game I've had this happen with desynced with the following items: a regular ham from the fridge and a vest created by a couple of II fusions. The first was a plain, white lab coat fused into pogoglasses2TM (or whatever the colorful, red and blue one is called) to make an electronic pogo bulletproof vest. The 2nd fusion was the electronic pogo bulletproof vest getting II fused into a can of tab to create a consumable mindy electronic pogo bulletproof vest. If I then try to II fuse the consumable mindy electronic pogo bulletproof vest into the ham, my character stops working correctly as if I've desynced in a multiplayer game. The game autosaved seeming right before the error occurred, and this time I knew better than to try to manually save (doing so breaks everything upon trying to reload). If you want my save file, then please let me know. No modded items were involved in the fusions. The mods I did have on were for custom lands and the Home and Stuck Project from NAV on Steam, which doesn't add any clothing items or tags to my knowledge.
