Alright, where to begin? I've only encountered this bug once before, in a multiplayer session, and as I've discovered, this bug comes up often in multiplayer, but this is one of the first times I've ever encountered it in a solo session. For a more in-depth look, I suggest having a look at what I've posted/documented in #screenshot-showcase, but I'll try my best to explain what's happened here, and everything I've had set up before this session. When starting this session up, I had set my classpect to Mage Of Rage, with the FIFO modus and the vacationhome (unsure as to whether or not this is relevant, but it could be a way to replicate the bug), the session was set to private and I had named the session "wasd". When starting, I put the sburb disc into a laptop and deleted nearly everything outside the vacationhome except for a shed, with 3 chests (notably, one of them containing a Fine Battle Fan), and I hadn't touched the inside of the house. I set up everything needed for entry, and entered the medium, my sprite auto-prototyping itself with a lamp, creating Mothsprite. This is when things started getting fucked. Most noticeably, there were no gates above my house at all, not a single one. I had no way to get onto my land other than using the abjure-fall bug or using a fly command, and I wasn't going to use commands in fear of completely breaking the session, as I wanted to document everything I saw. After falling down onto my land, I immediately noticed 2 things. 1, some parts of the land were an absolute distorted mess, a mess of graphics and the like. 2, the other parts of the land were completely pitch black. By this point, I had noticed that my land wasn't even on the map. I had no way of telling where dungeons were, or where anything was, and using the structures that showed you the map just brought me to a view of Skaia, with no land surrounding it at all. It's like my session didn't even exist at all. (Comment: in a way, this was shaping up to be worse than a Void session or a Dead session. Sure, the finishing state of the game is still theoretically possible, but progress is severely limited, and if I wasn't a Mage Of Rage, I doubt I would've made it as far as I did into the bugged session). Other than this, some additional notes: -Water appeared to render fine -areas in the distorted patches were darker than others, possibly highlighting pathways -rather than being a circle, the land turned into a square, allowing for North, South, East and West to be highlighted, making the land easier to navigate. -half of the dungeons were lopsided/in a river on their sides. If it helps, I'm playing on Linux Mint (on an XFCE environment) and there are no modifications to the game, nor did I use any commands in the game at all. If more info is needed, I can provide the player log separately (because I'm not sure how to do it in here), and there's documentation of what happened in #screenshot-showcase I'll also be doing my best to see if I can somehow replicate this further, to provide more info later on. that's about all the necessary info I can provide so far.
Created attachment 110 [details] the player log itself hopefully this provides a bit more info about what has happened, but it's a strange one for me. Thanks.
