I had noticed in playing with my friends that whenever one of us have used a cheat command (i.e. /spawn, /grist, etc., they are permanently stuck in a state where they either stuck in a shrug pose, facing one direction, unable to attack, type, make items, or use skills, or permanently dead, slumped over sideways but able to move, or constantly proc'ing death to show up and respawn them.
